Small Groups

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25

Small Groups are the primary way we “do life together” as a community and consist of 10-15 young adults that meet around the community in homes or apartments for Bible study, prayer and fellowship. All our groups are either single-gender or married couples.

If you are interested in leading a small group we would love to discuss this opportunity with you personally so please contact nate.keeler@mcleanbible.org.  We look for common qualities in our small group leadership team. First, we look for faithfulness to God and to the ministry. Second, we look for availability to invest time and energy into small group ministry. Third, we look for initiative to live out the small group vision and to see people pursue maturity. Fourth, we look for teachability. This includes doctrinal agreement in belief and in practice. Fifth, we look for honesty in relationship expressed in authenticity and transparency. We aren’t asking for perfection, what we seek are people who are committed to Christ and to the mission of McLean Bible Church.
